About Us

Who we are

At Healing Herts, we are Natasha, Mark, and Jason – three individuals in recovery who are passionate about helping others achieve lasting sobriety. Our journey began through a 12-step recovery program, where we discovered the life-changing benefits of support and fellowship. Through our own recovery experiences, we’ve been able to help many others embrace sobriety, but we knew there was more we could do.

As individuals who were given a second chance at life, we are now focused on giving back to the Hertfordshire community. We are committed to providing access to essential rehabilitation treatment for those in need – treatment that is often financially out of reach for many. That’s why we founded Healing Herts: to offer financial support for individuals seeking rehabilitation and to help them start a new, healthier chapter in their lives.

If you or someone you know is in need of recovery support in Hertfordshire, Healing Herts is here to help. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity for a fresh start, regardless of financial barriers.

What we do

Breaking free from addiction starts with getting clean and sober, but the cost of alcohol and drug rehabilitation is high, and government funding falls short. Healing Herts exists to bridge that gap – providing financial support for rehabilitation and offering essential aftercare to help individuals stay sober and rebuild their lives.

Our long-term vision is to establish our own rehabilitation centre. However, in the meantime we are committed to funding life-changing treatment for those in need, ensuring they have the opportunity to reclaim their future.

How we do it

We are affiliated with local rehabilitation centres to provide vital support for those struggling with addiction. Through our work with AA and CA, we meet many individuals who are unable to break free from alcohol or drug dependence on their own.

By securing them a place at one of our affiliated organisations and covering the cost of their treatment, we help set them on the path to a healthier, more fulfilling life. Once they have completed detox, we continue to support their recovery by guiding them through 12-step meetings, helping them rebuild relationships, and assisting in their reintegration into the community.

Our Community

We met in Enfield, north London, where we were all active in local Alcoholics Anonymous and Cocaine Anonymous programmes. Through our work in this community, running AA and CA meetings and sponsoring other addicts through the 12-step programme, we have encountered hundreds of people of who desperately need rehab but simply cannot afford it. That’s why we decided to act.
